Material Longevity
Care & Restoration
Routine Maintenance
Dust regularly with a dry, lint-free organic cotton cloth. Do not apply commercial aerosol polishes, chemical solvents, or synthetic degreasers, as these strip the natural botanical wax seal.
Climate & Environmental Placement
Natural hardwoods breathe and adjust slightly to ambient relative humidity. Position sculptures away from direct radiator blasts, forced-air ducts, and unshaded tropical afternoon sunlight.
Conditioning & Re-Waxing
Every 12 to 18 months, buffing with a small pea-sized portion of organic beeswax or jojoba-based wood butter will restore the satin luster and maintain water repellency.
